Happy Days Are Here Again!

Susannah Mars and Merideth Kaye Clark to Perform the Hits of Streisand and Garland

OREGON CITY, Ore. – June 21, 2018 – Susannah Mars and Merideth Kaye Clark will perform the hits of Barbara Streisand and Judy Garland in “Happy Days Are Here Again,” a concert to be held Sunday, July 15 at 7:30pm in the Osterman Theatre on the campus of Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at www.ClackamasRep.org or by calling (503) 594-6047.

The two vocal powerhouses last graced the stage together in 2017 for Clackamas Repertory Theatre’s hit musical, “The Melody Lingers On.”

Part of the theatre company’s popular Cabaret Concert series, the concert will include “Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart,” “Almost Like Being in Love,” “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered,” “The Best Things in Life Are Free,” “Any Place I Hang My Hat is Home,” “The Way We Were,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “People,” “My Man,” “Cry Me a River,” and “Down With Love.”

Eric Nordin will accompany Mars and Clark on the piano.

The Cabaret Concert series concludes August 19 with “Portland Sings! Puttin’ on the Ritz: Hits of the 1930s.” Local musical theatre star Courtney Freed and a cast of talented musicians will perform a variety of delightful Broadway tunes from the 1930s.
