2018 staged readings at Clackamas Rep!

Clackamas Repertory Theatre kicks off 2018 season with edgy, thought-provoking staged readings and partners with local businesses for exciting new venues.

OREGON CITY, Ore. — January 11, 2018— Clackamas Repertory Theatre kicks off its 14th season with four staged readings. Performances take place at Clackamas Rep in the Osterman Theatre and local Clackamas County businesses, Trail Distilling and Portland Cider Company. Clackamas Rep has found a new favorite playwright, Lucas Hnath. The company will present two staged readings penned by Hnath, Red Speedo and The Christians. Hnath found recent Broadway success with A Doll’s House, Part II, starring Laurie Metcalf and Chris Cooper, which received eight 2017 Tony Awards including Best Play. CRT’s Red Speedo is Sunday, February 11 at 3:00pm followed by The Christians on Sunday, March 25 at 3:00pm. Both readings will take place at the Osterman Theatre on the campus of Clackamas Community College.

Clackamas Rep partners with two local businesses Trail Distilling and Portland Cider Company as it continues its popular Bar Theatre series. Audiences are invited to join Clackamas Rep at these local watering holes to enjoy some thought-provoking theatre. With the purchase of a ticket to the event, patrons also receive one custom CRT cocktail or beverage to enjoy during the reading.
